Helmond Sport added to list of U15 Tournament

Helmond Sport U15, competing in the same division as SC Heerenveen, is the second professional Dutch football club we can announce for our 35th OSM ’75 International Football Tournament. The first team from the club from North Brabant competes in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.

In 1985 Helmond Sport reached the KNVB Cup final which was lost against FC Utrecht. Former Dutch international John van Loen scored in injury time for Utrecht. Helmond’s U15, trained by former Helmond-player Nyron Wau, will try to win the OSM ’75 Cup in 2022.

Notable former Helmond Sport players include René van de Kerkhof, Hans Kraay jr., Berry van Aerle, Juul Ellerman, Ricardo Moniz, John de Wolf, Didier Martel and Evgeniy Levchenko. Nowadays Helmond Sport has a former OSM ’75 youth player in their squad playing as a striker: Jelle Goselink. Needless to say that we are extremely proud of Jelle. 

The OSM ’75 U15 International Football Tournament will be held on June 11 -12 at Sportpark Fazantenkamp in Maarssen.
